“I wanted to develop a subdivision that allows homeowners to customize their home, but still have architectural guidelines that compliment and enhance the natural beauty of a mountain environment,” Mario says.
Mario hopes Ruidoso will some day become a vibrant mountain community like Aspen or even Vail, and hopes his log home subdivision will add to the attraction. “We are in the mountains and we need to pursue a mountain style,” he says. “Now we have a subdivision that is dedicated to mountain homes.”
Zerboni’s log home subdivision lots average one-half acre in size, and all lots share common area that is approximately 1.8 acres. Currently two homes are being built, with two more coming in the summer. Surrounded by trees and beautiful views, the homes can be constructed with a variety of materials, including logs, timber, rock and other natural materials. Home styles include rock accents, vaulted lodge-like rooms, log construction and natural countertops. “A mountain lodge style home reflects impeccable taste, true craftsmanship and evokes a sense of natural mountain living,” Mario says. |
