Greg Green and Caleb Neskahi started G.L. Green & Associates in August 2003 with the intention of providing quality homes with superior craftsmanship and style. Both Greg, a third generation builder and life-long resident of Las Cruces, and Caleb, a 20 year resident, are co-owners of Silverleaf Land & Real Estate Company LLC (along with Mary Holliday), in addition to G.L. Green & Associates. With ties to real estate and building, they are involved in every aspect of homebuilding, from the perfect location to the final outcome.
With the right location, a home needs to have a welcoming exterior, something Greg and Caleb both understand. Together with Designer Matt Adams of Scottsdale, the team always moves forward with a unique style. That unique style is seen from the moment the home is in sight. “We offer extraordinary style, unique ideas and comfortable and appealing interiors and exteriors,” Caleb says. Extensive stonework on the exterior of their homes often blends in perfectly with the surroundings – golden, brownish, rusty colors that seem to change with the time of day. The pair also utilizes the outdoors in an area where weather is welcoming many days of the year. Covered outdoor patios with plenty of room allow homeowners to admire whatever wonderful views they might have before them.
G.L. Green home interiors are equally inviting. Architectural and design services allow homeowners to utilize spaces in amazing ways. Large hallways and stairways adorned with unique stonework are works of art in themselves with intricate designs. Details are not left out of the bathrooms, where stonework continues and space is far from limited. Throughout their homes, large picture windows welcome in natural light and draw attention once again to the wonderful desert landscapes outside.
While choosing the best style for a home based on the homeowners dreams, Greg and Caleb also pay close attention to details that sometimes get lost during the process – those that can bring unexpected surprises to homeowners and take the fun out of building their dream home.
By the end of 2007, Greg and Caleb will have built 50 homes in Las Cruces, each with a style that is unlike any other in the area, with “Tuscan style architecture utilizing exposed wood, extensive stone work, deep set windows, elegant iron accents and other old world elements,” Caleb says.
